NJ MET, headquartered in Clifton, NJ, is an independent micro electronic testing lab that offers a full range of electronic component testing services. Joseph Federico has been with NJ MET for nearly 40 years and is now the Director of Operations, heading up the engineering staff.

Wayne NJ resident Joseph Federico, an engineer by training, is the Vice President and Director of
Operations at NJ MET an independent electronic testing and screening lab with it’s headquarters in Clifton NJ. Joseph Federico has helped build NJ MET into an internationally recognized company.
Joseph Federico has used his engineering skills to expand the range of tests provided by the company. Many of these tests are part of NJ MET’s efforts to spot counterfeit electronic components. NJ MET recently announced additional marking and permanency tests as part of its continuing efforts to authenticate electronic components.
As Director of Operations, Joseph works to ensure that NJ MET staff and testing lab maintain necessary certifications and relevant professional organization memeberships. In recent months, Mr. Federico has announced renewal of NJ MET’s ITAR registration, and membership renewals for IEEE, SAE International, ASTM and the Electrostatic Discharge Association.

Joseph supervises a staff of engineers and engineering lab techs who perform the tests on the electronic components. As Joseph Federico explains, the engineering staff follows rigorous military specifications in their testing of components. The staff has a range of precisely engineered equipment to assist with their testing.
